They look like Mother-of-Pearl grips to me. Read in a guns magazine that they were initially created for use by competition shooters, due to their resistance in change of shape due to weather, unlike traditionally used wood.

Here is the Star, it might be a desi clone but the price I paid for it was nominal. Is very reliable. Any leads to good ammo are highly appreciated.

couple of days back i bought M151 Jeep and getting it refurbished with modern layout. i will share proper pics after 20 days inshAllah.:)
