And I don't see it being removed after that as well. The dealers out here in Karachi are crying! :(
Sales are down by about 20%.

Hey Maybe someone can shed some light on this. I applied through a dealer out here in Khi in Dec. The demand draft receipt has 23rd Dec stamped on it. HOWEVER they say that the issuance of licenses has been stopped for the month of Jan and the book will ONLY be issued after that. Anyone else facing a similar dilemma?

Every one is facing this delima. and as for the 144 its ending on the 20th of Feb. would that mean we cant take the weapon to the range.

nope. Transportation & carrying is a different thing. Make sure when visiting the range ur gun is in a place where it is not readily accessible e.g. in the trunk & seperated with ammo. This comes under transportation & hence ok.
But then again, our police is the law, who know what r they gonna do but apparently this is the safe thing to do.

There should be lobby to relax gun laws and pressurized police in to submission.

card license are really a trouble, you will have to have it renewed after every 5 year resulting you will have to go with the same hassle you passed while getting your first one.

3 of my friends have been waiting for the last one year to get their card though they had cleared their demand note that very time.
