Dear members decision taken by a person need to be honoured and praised yes if he takes advice before purchase one can openly brief him regarding pros and cons and then itís up to him to decide. No one is perfect in this world and no one is more knowledgeable, mostly so called experts are paper tigers with a few exceptions who speak logically.

Well... My DSA had some issues with it. It used to belong to fellow member AliTaurus, if i recollect correctly. The original butt stock was loose. Me and the good Deathrow went to the market on a sunday night (Dolmen Mall) and got a nice loong screwdriver to fix it. But it became loose again after a few shots. This time we used one of my old banyans (vests) and cut it into strips and stuffed it inside the hollow stock. After that the stock remained firm for all of 40-45 shots, than it required a fresh banyan.

Later on, the safety stopped working. We took it to the gunsmith who repaired it for me.

Than one day a friend was shooting it. He fired one of Shaheen's SG loads and well.. The weapon kind of fell apart.

The barrel, magazine spring, everything. No one was injured though. We took it back to the gunsmith. He fixed it and we tried a few rounds and it was working fine. Later on I gave it to fellow member Arsalan Butt (Rainman). No idea about its condition now.

I have owned a lot of shotguns and shot many more. But somehow the recoil on that weapon was way beyond any weapon I have ever fired. I used to become badly bruised (maybe it was the Banyan)....

Later on, I bought a full steel (barrel, receiver, trigger guard. No alloy used anywhere) 3 inch magnum calibre shotgun. It was made by Megtech Las Vagas. But by one of their Brazilian subsidiaries. It has wooden furniture and came with a pistol grip. It was Megtech's answer to Ramington's police magnum shotgun meant for military and law enforcement use. It was used but in excellent condition.

I purchased it for 29k from Badar and Brothers (Adnan Peshawarwala bhai) main Lucky Star Saddar, Karachi after getting it carefully inspected by both Deathrow and fellow member Racer (shahzaib). I installed a wooden (matching polish) stock that I got from Famous arms (Mehmood Khakhi) for 5k. He threw in clips for a strap at no extra cost. I bought a green strap for it for Rs. 200

Finally, I went to the Khori Garden area with fellow member Skywatcher and bought a powerful alloy flashlight for it. Deathrow gifted me a mount and fellow member Obayid (Techie) helped me buy a nice, well padded case for it from Al Sayyad Lucky star saddar karachi for Rs. 1800.

Deathrow also gifted me a couple of 12 guage snapcaps for it. And he took the time out to completely dismantle it to its smallest constituent components and cleaned it and put it back together.

So far, I have used high brass slugs and SG and #4 bird shot in it. It works fine and the flashlight is rock solid in its mount. Best of all, it doesn't make me sacrifice my banyans anymore.

I have now entered it in the local PS as well as the Home department and I intend to keep it for the rest of my life.

Was it the powder coated variant or the old model with blueing?

To cut the chase, its advisable to purchase dozens of Banyans on the way back after purchasing DSA shooter

Maybe DSA have invested in Banyans.... so its a win win for both the shotgun and the banyan.
For what its worth, I have heard too many stories with the lousy QC and question mark on the reliability.. I for one will steer clear from it, unless its a gun that is only to be used once a blue moon. Simply can't compare it with the other more rugged and pedigreed options available.
maybe someone has better experience with it.... Might get it for fun plinking but never for serious use.
They couldn't streamline the shotgun and they came out with the Pistol to capture the market share, and the last time I got to know about it, it too was plagued with problems.
If a pump is what you have to get
    get one from the following
    Maverick 88
    sxp
    870
    1300
    benelli super nova
even the pumps from popular Turkish manufactures would suffice

PS: A friend got DSA a long time back, as it was also highly recommended by the forum, but at last he had to switch to Winchester SXP. Maybe if he is reading my post, he can chime in.

Someone contacted me a few years back for a budget shotgun. I had recommended him the DSA. He got it from their (then) authorised dealers in Karachi. Tayabally and sons. It had FTE issues and the extractor was not working properly. He took them back to Taybally and after some a bit of persuasion they changed the piece. The next one worked fine.

Also got adjustable stock with pistol grip, got picatinny rail and side saddle installed as well also purchased the strong box and got my name laser printed on the gun. It was one of my best experiences going to DSA they are very professinol and loving people. Mr Williams at sales gave us more than 4 hours out of his precious time before leaving the Director Mr. Mohammed M.Daud spent half an hour with us and told us about their ongoing projects they also showed us Trueshot and DSA9 9mm pistols. They are really pride of our nation honestly i dnt have words to describe more of their love, hospitality and professionalism.

I am trying to upload the pictures but it says upload failed if someone can guide me i will be grateful
    What?
    Why?
You could've gotten a Hatsan Escort for 40k,even if you add 20k for the case, still would've cost half.
120k is a bit too much for a DSA. Especially when their shooter retails at 35k.

so guys i read all your comments mostly are against the brand. i recently tested the gun fired almost 100 plus cartridges including LG, SG and 10 slugs it worked perfect only two time it didnt load the cartridge but overall it kicked fine. very lower recoil with the stock without stock the recoil is noticeable. about the guys who think i spent too much may be they are right but i was originally looking for mossberg 590-A1 tactical but unfortunately wasnt able to find one in lahore, rawapindindi, islamabad and peshawar i was looking for a new one and was ready to spend the money. secondly my prefrence was pump action so after looking into a lot of markets and visting the dealers i found out that they dnt have any good pump actions, the ones they had with best brands were all second hand or used one and i didnt want to risk the money for a used item. i hope it answers all your concerns. thanks to you all for your great feedback Khush Rahain

Na na Shahroze bhai i highly appreciate and value your opinion and ofcourse its an open forum. you are right but i paid for accessories more than that of the cost of the gun.
