    Is this valuable?

    Hello all,

Found this lying around the house. Belonged to my grandfather. Dont know anything about knives. Wanna ask the experts if this is valuable and can it be fixed?
And if so how to go about sharpening/ restoring it etc. Would appreciate any help.

    Thanks

its not valuable its priceless, just because it belonged to your grandfather.
Just lightly use wd40 and rub it on the blade with a cloth should bring out a little shine and remove the rust.
you don't need to restore it but preserve it in its condition and cherish it.

    AoA Dear
What you have there is a Joseph Rogers & Sons Hunting Knife. I also have it; belonged to my Great Grand Father.
Very correctly stated by Shahroze, it is indeed priceless.

I will suggest NOT to sharpen or mess around with it at all; its perfectly fine the way it is.
    Cheers

Thank you so much for the replies.

As suggested I will clean clean it with WD-40 and keep it as is.

    Cheers
