    Best clones ?

Guys what are the few manufacturers in Pakistan, which make comparatively better quality handguns ? At least, which could be considered dependable for SD/HD ?

If you needs must go the clone route for SD/HD then it is Badar and brothers TT. A lot of us have shot extensively with em and they shoot decently well. If you want a 9x19. Then the Royal Arms Taurus PT 92 will be good for a couple of hundred rounds.

Better stay away when any kind of defence involved.
You can't rely on local sub standard clones.

If one wants a passable clone under Rs.15K, go for Bader & Brothers TT (30 bore and 9mm, with thumb safety).
It is factory made on CNC machines, with interchangeable parts. It is in matte Parkerized/phosphate finish.
I am much pleased with my piece, for the price (cancer_doc put me up to it !). Already fired 100 POF 9mm with very few stoppages.
TT is a simple, therefore, reliable platform for clones. One would be hard put to find a Darra TT at the price.
Nevertheless, it is unrealistic to expect SD/HD reliability or thousands of rounds life from a clone.

Very few stoppages in 100 rounds is not reliable at all.

Do these safety locks installed in TT's function well ? Because the original guns weren't designed with such safeties in mind. And I would also prefer to carry cocked and locked, instead of with an empty chamber.

The safety on my B&B 9mm TT works, though I never use it. It is our recreational shooter !
Chambered carry with hammer cocked & locked will be unsafe for any gun which does not have firing pin block.

Yes you are right the TT doesn't come with a hammer drop safety either.
