Oh God Please let this be true. Not just the high prices. But availability is also a huge issue.

Could we be seeing new weapons soon? And if so, how soon?
    Please guide. Thanks.

No Sooner then 2 months bec. the process takes time. Entries into WEBOC, NOCs, Bank Guarantees etc. confirmation from the seller, transfer of FUNDS/Pricing and more issues on arrival. But still be optimistic. CZ and TAURUS has stopped its exports to Pakistan due to certain issues. China and Turkey is the short listed origins but China has also some reservations. These are the quotes of Prominent dealer in Peshawar, this morning.

CZ stopped around 2012 or so. Taurus continued til the import ban. No idea about turkey and China.

So basically, China and Turkey are the only 2 countries willing to export ? so most stock coming in will be from these 2.

What will be the expected price of 9mm pistols and ammonition? Should i sell my current 9mm pitol which i have purchased 200000+.

There will be no significant reduction in prices. Customs rules have been changed. From now onwards under invoicing will be very difficult. Each firearm imported will be invoiced separately. Not the whole container. And in future weapon will be checked if custom paid or not. Thats why the whole computerization exercise was done. So no significant drop in prices of firearms. But ammunition will come down to half the current rates. First consignment of turkish shotguns will come around in November and second consignment will be of ammo. 223 rifle will hit tge shores next January. Only 30 percent price reduction expected.
Taurus and cz are banned so no reduction their. Chinese and turkish firearms will depreciate in value.
    Plan accordingly
This is for karachi. In market for a Chinese 223 so have been checking with importers. Cqa might end in a ball park of 300 to 400k. Current asking 500k plus

    Hmmmmmm.......

Whatever happens, Karachi arms market being the worst of whole country, will enjoy devouring the enthusiasts. I don't think we will see price reductions.

What to say of the market, that when POF was selling B6 for 49-50k at their outlet, our sharks were selling it for only a 1-5k profit, i.e., for 51-55k...
Now, within a few years, when the POF is selling the 9mm bullet for 83/- per bullets, these sharks are charging no less than 120/- per bullet. That's half times profit... Damn them.

If imports open (even if only turkish and chinese) at least we will see some new weapons in the market. Obv dealers are gonna say prices are not coming down because they would want to get rid of existing inventory. But even if a relatively small amount of new weapons come in, prices should definitely fall. Esp since there are only a limited number of buyers out there because new licenses are hard to get these days and since computerisation, weapon change procedure is cumbersome.

Just my opinion. I am by no means an expert on this.
