Thanks Fraz and Ajmal. Thanks for your feedback, as I was in process of placing an order for Trueshot C X 2 (Rs.49,00 each) and a DSA Shooter. They quoted me about 68K for DSA pump with long barrel piccanty rail pistol grip etc, I replied with amusement and hinted all I want is a DSA Shooter 7+1 witn an extra 28" barrel and reminded them that someone I know had purchased one from them for 32K with an extra barrel. They then replied with another quote which was 30,130 for DSA Shooter 7+1, and 15K on top for the additional 28" barrel. Which again I don't think is worth. Yeah I dont mind and intend to get just the standar DSA 7+1 Shooter. Am reluctant to get the Trueshot after Ajmal's feedback.

For my DSA Shooter 7+1, I ordered barrel (30 inches, 2 3/4 inch chamber, bead sight). It took a week to make.
Cost; Rs.11500, barrel only (2018).
DSA now make 3 inch chamber barrels also (TOSS Show).
DSA sell adjustable stock for shotguns, "Adaptive-Tactical" brand, USA made (Google it !). It costs $100+ and DSA charge accordingly.

Very respectfully, I would disagree with Ajmal Bhai's feedback regarding Trushot. Indeed, there may be a possibility that the particular unit which AV came across may have had issues, however being an in-house produced handgun, it can be tailored by DSA per the requirements of the shooter. For example the trigger pull etc.

I am a bit confused by your reply Jibs.. so the moral of the story then? Lol. Does it mean you are a satisfied Trueshot owner? If Yes then kindly share your detailed experience.

They have increased their prices by at least 10% recently, I personally feel both POF and particularly DSA are well over priced for being local manufacturers. Yes many may disagree but I won't on this one.

Thanks and sorry for the late reply been really busy but managed to read that thread in bits and bats. I hope that is the case with every piece, I come across different opinions about DSA Trueshot as I research online.

The Trushot is an excellent handgun and after sales services are excellent.I plan to buy there DSA nine quite soon Inshallah.

I had a DSA shooter. ran hundreds of rounds through it. However, I had to take it to the gunsmith a few times. First the manual safety did not work, than the spring came loose, than the butt stock became loose. And God! It kicked like a mule..

I gifted it to fellow member Arsalan aka Rainman. I might get it again, because of the memories I have with it. But in the 45-55k range I can get a nice Turk pump complete with a slug capable barrel. And it wont punish me much either.

DSA advised me not to shoot slugs with their barrel. I wanted to disobey the advice, but Deathrow firmly took away the weapon and offered me his Hatsun Aimguard at the range so that I could shoot slugs to my heart's content.

Dear Brother jamalkio77, mine is a very reliable weapon. I had it made to order with 2 slug capable barrels, 20 inches and 28 inches.... I recommend you get it. But due insist on discount. They oblige at the factory outlet.

ED Bhai i got two slug capable barrels from them.....

I don't know if it was shooter or security but the ones i handled were poor, had to be sent to the workshop a couple of times and still needed work on them. Unless you buy one from their outlet and test a box or two there, I'd advise you against it. Unless you are ready for a few gunsmith trips.

Hmmmm, the ones i bought (for myself and later on friends) were bought from factory, tested there. All went fine. May be yours were old or something? When they hadn't improved quality. May be

Since I am in Karachi, a trip to peshawar just to bhy a DSA is not productive. I would rather buy a turk instead

I havent seen any turkish pump actions in the market lately, are they still around? or after the last ban they didn't come here?

I have been a DSA Shooter cheerleader, nevertheless must add that I have had the following issues;
Locking-lug retaining-pin inside the bolt fell out. Repair was done free of charge at DSA dealership, Saddar, Rawalpindi.
Now, Fired shell gets stuck in chamber, have to pry on rim to free it.
Both barrels (21" & 30") have indeterminate choke. Tried to use Vernier-caliper, but accurate choke measurement not possible.
