    Ok, I'll play!

Top left - USMC combat knife*; top right - UK issue commando dagger; middle left - IDF Combat Engineer knife*; middle right - unknown spring knife*; bottom middle - my every-day-carry Kershaw pocket knife.
    * = at some point it was on/in my military LBE gear.
I have accumulated lots of others over the years, including a bunch of souvenir bayonets.

Souvenir bayonets ar sheer unadulterated love. When I was purchasing my 1943 Mark IV* Enfield, i saw its bayonet as well. But the shopkeeper quoted me close to three times the price of the rifle itself, so I decided to let it go.

Here are my current bayonets. I still need one for an 8mm Mannlicher. Let's see if you all can identify any. Some are easy, a few will be difficult.

I forgot one of my favorites...a Gerber Command I. I'll have to dig mine out for old-time's sake. I got it in about 1981, and it has been with me around the world, in one or two sticky wickets.

    Nah, not even close!
The top two are for my Enfield No1Mk3 and No5Mk1 rifles. The 2 at bottom right are both for AKs, one Polish and one Romanian. The second came out of Iraq.

Your bayonets are love. Especially the Enfield ones. Up in the tribal areas, last one I saw cost me more than my gun.. Way more than double. I gave it a miss.

Yess.. They are designed to 'impale' the opponent. (No-pun-intended-of-course).
