Slightly off topic, but what variety of pellets are available in Lucky Star Khi?
Use some good pellets like RWS, Diana, Crosman, H&N, JSB, etc. Avoid Gamo, Irani, Afghani and local ones at all costs.
Any trustworthy recoil proof scope would do, only one condition is that you have a one piece mount, get a Diana one.
Scope... get a Leapers 5th gen recoil and shock proof scope if available as it's cheap and efficient.

But I doubt you'll be able to find good pellets and scopes in Pak, if not at sky high rates.

I have a diana 56 which is same technology as 54 put have other features as well, these guns have amazing accuracy as compared to any other spring powered airgun because of its recoil less action.scope does not matter any scope will work on this amazing gun.and yes you have to use heavy pellets on this gun mine work great with gamo hunters and h&n pellets, even pro hunter performs better in this gun as compared to other guns that i have.

I'll have to disagree on the scope part- ANY SCOPE WOULD NOT DO.
This gun is a scope-killer, the recoil felt by the shooter is almost non-existent but the recoil the scope faces is harsh. That is why I have suggested 4 screw single piece mounts which are certainly not easily available here. And then you'd need a good recoil proof scope with atleast 3-9X magnification. Even if one is available in the 20k's range, that'd be a rip-off.
The gun is very very heavy and you'd need support. If you'll be taking long range shots (utilizing the power in the gun) a scope would be quite beneficial.
I am never going to use Gamo pellets, they're the worst around. I don't find any other imported pellets in the market other than Gamos, Iranis and Afghanis (which are all illigible for this gun).
However, Diana pellets are sometimes available @Lucky Star, 200 pellet tins for Rs 500 each.
Well you could get one as it's a very accurate gun.
The choice is yours.

scope is ok if I can not find the four screw mount I can shoot without scope or may be damage a scope but without pellets it will be just a show piece

how can we adjust recoil system

I shall tell you all details.

If you cannot arrange a very good scope then its better for you to purchase Diana 460 magnum in .22 caliber with T06 trigger.

Salam Bro; The recoil of Diana 460 should be more than 54 Airking. So how do you recommend 460 magnum??. Is it better than mod. 54

An average is listed on almost all sites advertizing it. It's velocity in .22 is claimed around 900fps, but the gun itself delivers max. 850fps with lighter pellets (from what I've read), and with 14grain pellets(like Crosman premiers, match pellets, Gamo pellets, most common pellets are in this weight) somewhere between 800-810 fps, though this varies from gun to gun.

these guns both 54 and 56 work best with 14.5 to 16 grain pellets at long range diana magnum are working good in my 56 and did most of my hunting with gamo pro hunters they were shortly available in sadar ,but now in market there are no good pellets for any airgun. had to get mine from alsayad even the pro magnums are working better in my airguns.

dear umair ,460 has less recoil then 54 what are you talking about,my 56 has no recoil at all and its realty nice to any scope i attach to it never felt any recoil at all plus the view in the scope after shot stays clear,This gun has really boosted up my confidence .the only down side is the weight but it comes in handy if you use bipod or bench.

54 and 56 are both recoil less guns. But remember these are recoil less to the shooter. When we talk about using the scope, we find out what is the recoil to the scope not to the shooter. When we fire 54, the whole action moves back 3/4 inch. This movement keeps us away from feeling any recoil. But the moment this action hits the end of the movement, the scope mounted on this action bears around 5 times as much recoil as it would bear if the gun had not been recoil less. 48 and 54 or 56 are the same guns except the later two have a rail system which does not let the recoil transmit to the shooter. But to the scope it gives much bigger hit than 48.

Now come to the 460. This gun has less recoil than 48. Please be assure that 54 and 56 are the most recoiling guns to the scopes and 460 is the least recoilng gun to scopes in the category of Diana magnum spring guns.

I hope I help you understand the core issue. You might be good with your gun and scope but we have to discuss the majority users.

Thanks,

Umair bro may be its your gun or 54 and 56 are different.any way coming to the pellets topic let me ashore you guys that good pellets make a lot of difference in any gun you use and there are none in the market right now does that mean that we should only buy locally made pellet guns.even the gamo whisper x is giving good grouping at 200 feet with diana magnum pellets.

nice man, wanted to buy 54 but confused on scope selection for it as it is a worse scope recoiler. if leapers does the job then tell me where to buy this gun in pakistan? i think u got urs from dubai as u got a leapers scope not available in pak. which pellets u r using and what about power of airking , has it reduced over time as umair bahur has qouted that 54 and 56 need spring replacement after 4000 shots or so,.... what do u suggest about this gun ? i want a powerful, accurate and scope accustomed airgun ,.........

khilji bro my 56 was not good at all with gamo pro magnums, but some guns do better with them like my walther and 36 .but still they are best with good pellets .you should try out diana magnum or H&N ftt on your 54.
