The WOOD STOCK of hunting rifles and shotguns are usually prone to wear n tear especially in Water-Fowls Hunting. In hot weather, the punishment from human sweat to the wood stock is no different either.

1: What should be done to protect or refurbish the Wood Stock?

2: Apart from going to a gun-smith, Are there any products available in market for Wood treatment at home?

Thankyou Salman for the info, I wonder what Oil Finish Brands are available here.

Sir Skeeter Sb and Sir 12 Gauge may shed some light on it.

locally we have varnish or spirit polish but it depends on the maker of the polish if he is using good quality product and in right ratios, very difficult to find A quality spirit polish :(
