SINDH(karachi) Licenses being issued as of 11 Nov 2011??

Are the licenses being issued or is the ban still in effect? I read many different posts and it is not clear whether or not we are able to get a license. My cousin is looking into getting one so he can purchase a pistol. Any info is appreciated

as far as i know, the licenses are open. I am in the process of making one myself. My license should be with me sometime next week as promised by guys at daad - zamzama.
