Airsoft guns are widely popular in many countries, where people cannot have Original guns due to restrictions.

My question is that are Airsoft guns available in pakistan? and do they require any license??

and for those who dont know abt airsoft guns:

Here is the websiite of world's leading Airsoft gun manufacturer, Tokyo Marui from Japan, just c for urself, how realistc these guns are

Yes they are available in Pakistan with many dealers, but you will have difficulty in finding the co2 cans, and if you do they will be expensive.

No1 you do not require an arms licence, as arms licence is required for firearms using explosives to discharge projectiles.

if any plan, i'll b buying one for my younger brother.he is fond of that

In 2007 I bought a Chinese AEG model of P-90 SMG and a M4 from Beijing. Cost around 6000-PKR for both. But the airport staff didnt let me carry them in my booked baggage and confiscated them. :(

I saw them a couple of days ago in variety bookshop basement in liberty market lahore. They had quite a variety and imported airsoft pellets. I dont know much about them but they looked japanese to me. If anyone is in that area and knows about them do check them out.

Air soft guns have a charm of their veryown. alternately htey can be used (spacialy the ones that are identical clones to their real world counterparts down to weight) as excellent training tools in areas where its not practical to blaze away with real bullets ...

Shoots real acurately I kill lizards with them at 10 meters they punch a hole in a pepsi can

Air soft guns.......Hmmm.
I can procure these guns from china. thier are two types CO2 and AEG(Automatic Electric Gun). Here is a Description of AEG. CO2 versions are not that economical.

http://www.pyramydair.com/airsoft-aeg-guns.shtml

Well chinese companies only sell in wholesale so i will need at least an order of 25 to 30 guns(will need confirmation). i can compile a catalog and price if many of you are interested. Also can procure stuff like Excellent quality scopes, red dot sites, Lasers, rails, Scope mounts etc. But again the requirement is quantity.

Do these airsoft guns have metal or plastic (read: cheap plastic) bodies? Bcos I heard someone say that these are replicas of real ones in every way except ammunition.

Now that I see the pics, something comes to mind. A couple of years back, my dad got my little bro a similar pistol, from "Teens & Kids" at The Forum. Replica of Ruger P85. Fully plastic body, battery operated, finicky fitting. Worked okay for the first few rounds but... my eventual opinion: not something worth spending on, unless you are pretty sure. Magazine jams, BBs get stuck in barrel, and batteries lose charge pretty quickly.

Bro, the pics you have posted seem great. Do you have a web link or something I could check out (of the company)? Plus, if we order, say, 30 units, what would be the cost per unit (shipping, other charges included)? Bcos this stuff can be used as a practical training tool for tactics and has already replaced paintball for training of some Western special forces. Plus, nobody can deny the fun you can get out of them :D

Rotorcrafts
02-08-2009, 12:52 AM
Well i cant say any thing about the quality of these guns but i think they seem pretty rugged. try out Youtube and you will find a heck load of videos about airsoft and thier reveiws etc. If you are really interested i can give you a final price per peice(i will need to contact the factory first). Moreover price is different for different guns and models. Please select a model from the pictures above so i can get its exact price. the price will include shipping, Customs etc etc upto Rawalpindi.

If not, how about the last Glock 18 and the 3rd HK MP5?

@rotorcrafts, sir great job. thanks. now one or two questions, first, are these prices inclusive of shipping to pindi, as you said in post 15, or just unit prices? second, could you be kind enough to name the manufacturer? and thirdly, what about ammo, battery availability and warranties.

Whenever you plan for a combined order on behalf of PakGunners, please count me in for a G3 and an MP5 with an interchangeable butt, if possible... thank you.

@KageFox, sir in the price list, most guns are all metal with wood parts, those which are not, are usually made of industrial-strength plastics with metal gearboxes(heart and soul of the gun.)

Rotorcrafts
06-08-2009, 09:57 PM
Thanks, ay_be_why. These prices include every thing shipping, custom duties, blah blah etc upto Rawalpindi. about your second question all the guns with CM in thier product code are from a well known chinese manufacturer called CYMA you can google it. and the others i am not so sure about. regarding ammo and batteries i think the ammo is the same as used in toy plastic pistols available from any toy shop. About the battery I can say is that you cannot find it easily but as i have good knowledge about aeromodelling stuff(Remote Control Airplanes) We use a lot of batteries and stuff so according to my guess after seeing some pictures of the batteries i know i few shops who sell these types of batteries also individual cells can be soldered up to make up a battery.

Please note the manufacturer told me that the Minimum order quantity is 4pcs per gun. This means you have to buy atleast four guns of the same type but if i can pullup an order of 30 to 40 rifles he may agree to a single peice.

Rotorcrafts

Roter crafts bro this is a great idea , i mean think about it , right here we dont have anything to train with , we got no firing ranges , and the ones that we have are as expensive as ell , Maybe if we could introduce airsoft we could train and hone our combat skills and simulate battle envirnments , that way we d know how to react to real life situations and develop our combat abilty , atleast we d be ready for CQC by training in such a way ,

i gave it to one of my military friends (a ft lt of PAF) as a gift

At 3 rounds / minute, it must be requiring a lot of patience from the shooter.
