Trijicon ACOG 4X32 is for around 200k. It is with the fibre optic illumination and the chevron reticle with bindon aiming concept i believe.

brand new with scopecoat.

I guess it is for the serious enthusiast or weapon operator.

EOtechs are cheaper but very rare.

If you want a cheaper alternative go for aimpoint. They are available in peshawar area but in my humble opinion not in the same league as the EOtechs or the ACOG. Both these last two ones are for particular applications and are not substitutes rather complements.

Hope this helps

Also please be advised that EOtech is not a red dot sight(which are much cheaper) rather it is a holographic sight.

ACOG is a telescopic sight with a tritium and fibre optic illuminated reticle and bullet drop compensator for the AR series rifles.

EOtechs have a 1MOA dot with a 65MOA circle for rapid target acquisition

@MHMailk.Thanks for clearing out everything. So how much would an EOTech or Aimpoint cost. All i really need is a sight that can be mounted to my m4 so that i can point and shoot rather than aim and shoot. Also it should be tough enough to withstand the awesome power of the m4

If any one wants to buy an Aimpoint site be sure not to get yourself conned by buying a fake one coz they are rather hard to distinguish.I am not saying that the fake chinese ones are all bad news but if you are willing to buy it dont pay more than rs 3500.

I have a chinese one by the way:D

ACOGS fetch 125,000 to 200,000

not sure about EOtech

Aimpoints are much cheaper and plentiful

They are available but nice deal is a problem.

Thing is.. at first they didnt know what its worth was,
then they started selling like hot cakes.

Now these guys check the prices on the net and add a handsome markup.

But it is an absolute love to shoot..

Sorry if i sound critical, but you have to zero the scope after mounting it on the rifle. If you do that properly, you should score less that 3moa, depending on the rifle you mounted it on.

MHMalik

You are required to zero the scope so that the tip of the chevron is zero on bulls eye at 100 metres.

When this is done, the base of the chevron will be 19 inches @ 300 metres ( that is the average width of a human torso) so that it helps in range estimation and corresponding bullet drop compensation.)

It is worth its price.. a very well built and rugged scope..
